Why do some ppl pronounce Arab "AYE-RAB"

I always wondered how Arabs felt about it

It is low key a slur, but for some I think there's no malice, that's just how they pronounce the word.

In all seriousness @Black Trash! its a linguistic feature in the southeast. Idk the name for it but I know it's real... think 'tHEE-ater' vs 'theater'... There's more examples but I can't think of them right now
