As a handsome DS brotha myself I was still able to eat in HS and College, but imma keep it buck it was lot easier for me to eat from non-black girls than black girls. Black girls I had to do a “bit” more than my light skin counterparts to get them. This was less of an issue in college but in HS they got that “White Tall NFL QB” benefit of the doubt going

I’ve heard a friend of my wife say she didn’t want to seriously date a breh (who had his shyt together) because he’s “too dark” for her. She obviously want lighter kids. She ended up having a light skin alcoholic jail bird as her baby father. Why are black men the only ones accused of being colorists? I’ve seen it too many times from black women. (Actually more from women in real life)
There has never been a shortage of darker men in Hollywood.

Whoopi was clowned for being ugly nobody was talking about her being dark.
In my personal experience I have seen more examples of colorism on behalf of black women. I know a women who is a friend of the family that said she wanted light skin kids with "good" hair. She ended up with a Puerto Rican dude that cheats on her and verbally abuses her. bytch got what she wanted though and had her some light skin babies.
I use to go hard at brothers who dated out but based on all I've seen I don't blame them anymore. If i were to conduct a survey I am willing to bet that most black women have some tendencies of self hatred and colorism. Some go extreme and don't date certain men entirely and others jut have a "preference".
But to be fair i've seen quite a few black women who dont fukk with light guys. I think all form of colorism it stupid.
