As a dark skinned man, I never dated a light skinned woman. Never clicked with them and although a couple of them may have expressed interest in my lifetime, things never panned out so I don't fawn over them like many other Black men...

As for Black women in general, I think that colorism is less of an issue and having certain personality traits is more of a deciding factor overall..

I peep this too. Almost every black women I know that is married or in a long term relationship is with a light or brown skin dude. Of course there are plenty of exceptions. Its just my personal observation. I think dark brehs are sexually fetishized by a lot of black women and aren't really taken serious as long term partners or men to even procreate with. And truth be told the only time I see any dark skin dude settled is when he's with a light skin women or white women. Really makes you question the stereotype that all dark skin brehs are simply colorist for marrying/dating out....
