Democrats passed the civil rights act of 1964, the voting rights act of 1965, the civil rights act of 1968 and literally send troops to the south to abolish Jim Crow. Republicans on the other hand are in the process of rolling back everything that was achieved since the 1960. The both sides narrative is nonsense.
