yeah lebron is egotistic, has been spoiled since hs and made an unnecessary sh1t show out of the decision, but i think he learned from that. it wasn't a good idea, but when you're treated like property and an asset (like most athletes are) i don't blame him for doing what he wanted to do without getting approval. and then how gilbert fanned the flames of hate made me want to root for lebron even more.
i think back to how the atlanta hawks traded nique and that was one of the most disgusting betrayals i've ever witnessed. so "the decision" has no bearing on me.
some parts of lebron's offensive game ain't the prettiest and he's a brute at times, but there's no denying he is an all around dominant player. one of the few in the league that can go to any mediocre team in the league and automatically turn them into a contender. and that goes for west or east. his passing, floor vision, set up game, defense and basketball iq is up there with the other greats.
some of the hate is opportunistic jokes, but some of yall dead serious. sports is one of the few industries where people are so emo they put principle to the side. bron is a family man, tries to lead by example and has matured into a great player and a better person. pat riley deserves the credit for some of that, but bron also had to commit himself to it too.

Dude has a lot of b*tch ass tendencies, (flopping, the Decision, running to team with 2 other all-stars) like what has already been stated.
For me it goes back to his senior year of high school. I didn't like all the hype & media dikk riding that he was getting and he hadn't even played 1 minute in an NBA game, and people were already proclaiming him "king" & "chosen one". They should've let him prove himself first. Think about it, this dude had is high school games televised on ESPN. Plus he was handed the high school dunk contest trophy, even though Shannon Brown had more creative & difficult dunks. Plus, a lot of what dude does basketball wise doesn't seem genuine, and he comes off as a try hard at lot of times.
Off the court, dude does a lot for his city & neighboring communities, and for that I salute him.

Any team aside from the Suns and Kobe can get away with jacking shots but Phoenix was the only team that could offset prime Kobe's scoring. It's funny cuz if he had jacked a bunch of shots and got blown out everyone would say he didn't trust his teammates. When he tried to get them involved by putting the ball in their hands it ain't work out.
That Lakers team was young, not that talented, and had no business even being in that series whereas the cavs actually had a chance if Lebron actually tried.
