sorry but you're \EXTREMELY out of touch. Kids pretend to be something their not ALL THE TIME. Ive seen it firsthand. Cant remember the poster name but he was saying how he used to "dumb" himself down purposely to make himself seem like somebody he wasn't when he was in school. I worked in a youth detention center for 2 years and i had numerous kids confide in me how they had to "hide their intelligence" to seem more down to the homies. It happens quite often. My thread obviously gettng under people's skin cause ive lived it as a suburban bred black male in the country. Some of you really dont want to hear it and thats alright...whatever.

But the fact of the matter is when we do have exceptional black talents, like a scientist, like a figure skater, like a golfer, like a dj, like whatever outside of the atypical realms that dominate black culture...black people the last people to support them.

I make techno and dj...before i used to get ridiculed for playing "white people music" without even recognizing that house techno etc came and originated from the black community. Even on here...you got people that refer to anything with a house beat as "euro"...what type of BS is that? Black folks still will support techno and house and whatever in bigger cities...but i bet you amongst those not really in the know they're automaticly going to associate with gay white europeans.

shyt go to any edm festival...you can count the number of black people there on one hand and all of these chicago and detroit legends are playing to predominantly white crowds.
