Why does Ryse get hate for the same things the Uncharted series gets praised for?

I have played crysis 1and 2, this is why I made the statement. They haven't progressed pass graphics, they spend all their effort in the prettiest part of the engine instead of making an overall good to great experience.

Yes I have played Ryse. I don't know how or why you would compare Ryse to the Uncharted series. Uncharted is praised for many things and even IF you were right, Uncharted has excellent characters and plots that would make up for the "repetitive gameplay". Ryse however has a CLICHE and horrible planned out plot and it has underwhelming characters. You should have compared God of War with Ryse because both are hack and slash games, but God of War expands on many things that Ryse fails to do. Just admit it, Ryse is Xbox's Knack

• Mario 3D did not completely change it's gameplay thus Mario = Forza
• Uncharted has great graphics and cinematic sequences thus Uncharted = Ryse
