Pretty funny how people claim to be in the know about charts and what's hot, yet can only manage to come up with smilies as the reason why. There's no tangible evidence of a lot of this music people claim to be hot, actually being hot. It's similar to people using extreme analytics to prove a team has a great defense, when you can just use the eye test and see that team goes 3-13 that same year. Do any of y'all actually go to parties/clubs? Y'all actually flip on the radio every in awhile? See advertisements on TV? Or do y'all just look at YouTube and SoundCloud views, both which clearly had been getting manipulated for years? Based on yalls logic, Hopsin and Earl Sweatshirt are some of the hottest selling/unit moving dudes out.

If you talking eye test I already spoke on my experience at parties/clubs this is one of those songs that was always played. It's almost shocking to hear nikkas claim they never heard it because all that shows is you probably don't go out or hit venues for older crowds.

Many more examples can be given a lot of songs really hitting the culture aren't on the charts. There's shyt that charts that depending where you are in the country the shyt gets no play for example Kent Jones or Kevin Gates in NY.

A major label markets its artists.

This is pretty true... considering Drake isn't even on OVO himself. It's still in its infancy and hasn't signed the next 2-3 rap acts it needs to push the movement. It's got the producing and RnB framework but it def needs a couple up and coming rappers no more than 3 to really be a "label" in the modern sense. I think they know it's impossible to push PND Roy Majid DVSN without slowing up the Drake project

I expect a lot more from them in q4 2016
