It's weird with a lot of dudes here. Various reasons why a woman could be a single mother. The mother and father could have been married/monogamous relationship and broke up for whatever reason so now they co-parent, father could have died so she's raising the child alone, father could have went to prison, or she along with the father were irresponsible and bringing a child into a unstable environment

Personally I wouldn't date a single mother. I'm not going to knock a brother who does, just not my thing. The hate and venom that's spewed about them in TLR is insane. Who hurt some of y'all.

Breh I know a lot of single moms whether I’m related to them or they’re friends etc. the vast majority of them had children while in a relationship/marriage and it just didn’t work out. Very few just up and had a baby with some dude they were just fukking. You’d think black women were asexual and reproduced off sunlight the way some of these nikkas talk

It can both ways. Sure there are some losers who're just hating, but why is people pretending there are no downsides to single mothers?

-Ignored you in college to get the 'bad boys'
-Bad Decisions
-Low paying job
-Struggling to pay bills


Look at social media. Very easy to see why some single mothers are....single. If you want to date a single mothers then go ahead, but don't call dudes haters just because they refuse to do the same and talk bad about them.

Why does it have to be out of spite? Why can't it be common sense? I don't hate on girls choosing savage dudes, but it will tell me she makes bad decisions. If a girl has a history and doesn't bring nothing to the table in the present her value is pretty much zero. And it's disrespectful. Some of these girls have baggage and expect you to pick up the tab.

If single mothers built themselves up, and some do, they would have much better results, but instead y'all are pretending like they aren't looking for a provider. It's 2019, y'all should know the situation with some of these women.

Ciara and Megan bring value to the table, they aren't apart of the conversation.

I’d also like to point out people’s reasons for why a mother is single are all based on her perceived character flaws. Read through the thread. No discussion about the oppressive system we live under that pushes Black women into positions where they end up making choices that aren’t deemed the best. However anything that deals with the issues Black men bring to the table is blamed on the white man.

There's several studies that discuss how single parenthood negatively affects kids. You can google them yourself if you're really interested. You don't even have to look at scholarly articles to see it. They're countless negative stories posted here and on news websites related to single mothers or kids raised by single mothers.

Who was talking about abortion? This thread isn’t even about that subject. I swear some of y’all insert meaning that isn’t present

And uh this is not an “end thread”. Maybe you don’t read through the comments on different threads but they aren’t about how men aren’t interested in dating single mothers; they are filled with insults and hate. I dont keep up with posters names but I’m astonished by all these men dropping that sentiment, I’m wondering where they were at when other dudes was shytting on single moms like it’s a sport
