hardly ANY rappers spit true off the top of the head raps...now AND before.

I remember rappers in the 90's spitting "freestyles" that ended up on songs later on.

Alot of rappers just ain't built to spit off the top, and to be honest that is completely fine.

You guys stay making these pretentious rules and creating these "boxes" that you like to have your entertianment placed in.

These guys are just rappers....just artists.... let them put out good music and go with that.


BUT, the ABSOLUTE worst thing that has happened to hiphop in all of its history is the "top 5 list"

Instead of enjoying the music...it turned hiphop in to more of a soap opera.

You do realize most MC's "freestyles" are writtens, all those crazy Big L freestyles you see are writtens. You do realize the initial definition of freestyle as stated by Big Daddy Kane and Kool Moe Dee wasn't off the top but simply a verse free of style and subject matter.
