Not enough money can be thrown at research to solve the problem.

It's the same reason anti-fungals don't work inside the body and anti-parasitic rx works incredibly slowly.

Some organisms have adapted to us extremely well, although they are not entirely symbiotic because they cause us illness and issues.

You have to exploit a protein that only they have or rely on and that is very difficult. Look at the problem antibiotics have caused, they are broad spectrum and also kill the good bacteria in your gut.

We are just not advanced enough to find patterns unique per species, and even if we find and exploit the differences - Then you have to deal with something else, what changes will happen when that species is gone? Can we predict that?

Perhaps we should test in an artificial environment first to determine the effects. Then we go back to the original problem: Who is paying for all of this?

NYC has a huge rat problem... Why not inject them with a HIV/Aids serum and allow them to just kill themselves off?

What would the drawbacks be?

Do rat lives even matter?

After you come up with one that stops you from getting shot by cops, criminal :umad:

That's how a lot of them are... I remember I went to a predominantly AA school for a couple years and it would break my heart everytime I heard them say to someone "man you stupiid yo" "shut up dummy" Not just to me but anybody who they disagreed with

No facts or opinions .. just insults.. they are the only group of people I see do this...

One would think growing up poor and black in America would make you more humble. .. but it's quite a opposite here.
:umad::umad:
Any solutions yet?? Jamaica needs you guys bright ideas lol

Why do rats deserve to die before us? We have done nothing but destroy this amazing planet and when we waste all of its resources we will probably move on to another planet and do the same thing. Why should the most destructive species on this planet decide what lives and what dies? :mjcry:

Because this is our planet to destroy and we are the most important species in this piece and that's the truth:yeshrug:

Animals are just guests here:stopitslime:

Good shyt.. A lot of what you say makes sense.. I don't see how rat could evolve from a man made "virus". Bacteria yes.. But virus' it's not possible

Also ..I just would like to point out that the bold is false.. There's Tofrenil, and Gres-Peg that are taken orally...

Breh had a good post but that bolded I had a issue with as well. I understand he was saying that the biology of fungal infections make them harder to treat since they are close to our own cells, but there are a bunch of anti fungals to treat systemic infections. Fluconazole, griseofulvin, etc. They just take a while to get rid of in most cases.
