Why don’t people talk about how expensive it is to play sports besides basketball and football?

Most these coaches are terrible. U basically paying for playing time. Yawl getting finessed.

You aren't terribly wrong. Not pleased with my son's current coach and his style of coaching, but my son himself has grown leaps and bounds since joining the club in June. Practicing twice a week and 1-2 games on the weekend has really helped him. He's playin U-10's currently. Didn't make the A team his first year of club, should have made the B team, but I believe because he was an unknown he was put on the C team. He's leading his team in goals and is a step better than anyone else on his team. He was asked to come practice with the B team for the remainder of the year with a different coach. Apparently the new coach won a national championship last year. So we are paying a lot of money, but I don't feel like we are being finessed quite yet.

Man there’s 3 year olds in the Spanish hoods will kill these kids I seen it when I used to do summer camp. These coaches are terrible. Kids who do organized sports don’t have game instinct, don’t know how to improvise.

That’s because it’s the only thing they do. Most great soccer players are put in an academy young and all they do is focus on soccer.

Most US kids play multiple sports and we don’t have youth schools whose primary function is to train a sport. My son plays baseball in the spring, basketball in the fall, and swims between that. Other kids switch between football and baseball.

If other countries seriously had baseball academies like soccer then the US would stop being the leader in that too.

I was going to take fencing lessons. These clowns want over 200 a month.

They use pricing and time schedules to keep the low middle and poor classes out. Who can bring their kid to swimming lessons at 4pm besides a housewife. It's disgusting.

There's swimming lessons Tuesdays and thursdays from 9:30am to 10:30 am in my city....granted this is one particular swim school.....but don't most if not all kids have school monday-friday? :mjpls: :mjpls: :mjpls: :mjpls: :mjpls: :mjpls: and sure by the time your child is in school they should know how to swim but don't most parents work monday-friday or have kids in daycare......:mjpls::mjpls::mjpls:
