politicians and leaders used to get smoked all the time, now if they even get shot at it's a big story. Did security get that much better? you would think with all this crazy technology there would be more assassinations.
I was legit just randomly thinking about this earlier today, that's weird as fukk.
The conclusion I came to was 1) security has vastly improved and 2) too many cameras and people
with cameras everywhere to really get away with some shyt like that anymore. Nowadays, the assassin could accidentally get caught in the background of some chick's snapchat story and it's game over.
To successfully complete an assassination these days I think you would have to have an elaborate set up, ala the show Shooter (if you've seen it...it was a movie too but I never saw that). To pull it off, there was an elaborate scheme that required a believable patsy, a huge group of conspirators, millions of dollars and a foreign government. I feel like that's a lot how things would have to go in 2018.
