Let me make it known that I'm not opposed in the slightest to doing that.

I have nothing against lying unless it's malicious in nature, and I don't consider withholding or downplaying my personal beliefs malicious.

I have NEVER had an interaction with a woman where atheism was a point of contention simply because I avoid the topic.

And I do believe that many so-called good Christian men, including preachers, are secretly non-believers or have strong doubts, although they put on a pretense for the sake of their friends, family, or mate.

I think a lot of men have learned that they can't be honest. It's kind of ironic that certain women's criteria for honest god-fearing men has caused more dishonesty among a lot of men.

How many men do you think would still go to church if women wholesale said "Fukk religion"?

I don't know many other atheist who say it in the open.

Me personally. I believe in God. I believe he or Jesus here and he was more powerful than others. I also believe he wasn't the only one. I believe in evolution. I don't believe in most of the bible. But I believe the lessons. No heaven or hell. But an afterlife. And the sum of all things. All life and energy and creation is a power. And that is God

Most women will be fine. Cause I believe in something. Most will get with a Muslim dude. Cause they believe in something.

I will admit that atheist would be a deal breaker for me.
You dont have to be super religous or holy
dont have to attend services every week or with any frequency
or even identify with a certain religon But I personally believe in a God and for me
i need a partner who believes in one also.

This is a lie. At some point the fact that the man does not share in the same religious beliefs as the woman will cause a conflict.

Do you live in or have you been to the south? A lot of men down here really believe in Christ. They looked at me weird because I didn't wanna go to church. I jokingly said Im a heathen, they went "don't say that!"

Hmm. It's funny how there's this presumption in your statement that if you don't believe in some magical deity that means you don't believe in anything higher than yourself. There's a lot of stuff higher than myself. I think that speaks more to your own inflated sense of self-worth that you operate under the assumption that "God" is the only thing higher than yourself.

Also one doesn't have to worship science to be an atheist. Maybe they just recognize the facts gleaned through science. Using the word worship seems like projection. You worship God, so you assume that someone who doesn't believe in God has to worship something else, and that isn't the case.

Cause I gotta gauge how receptive people are to information before I waste my time. Pantheism is the belief that the universe in its totality is god, essentially everything that comes together composes "God". I don't know if I agree well enough to call myself a pantheist but I am very open to the idea, a lot of intelligent men and texts express this belief as well. Einstein said he was not an atheist, but open to Spinoza's god, so did Sagan, and not to mention the texts that speak of it. I believe it was the Vedas that says that the "Atman is the Brahman," which basically means that the individual and the universe are one. The eastern religions are generally more accepting of pantheism, you could read the Perennial Philosophy by Huxley, it has a lot of good quotes from these major texts, because they're hard to read by themselves

You aint gotta pin it on the atheists tho. Like somebody else in this thread said those people just sound really insecure, and most likely have some kind of inferiority complex. I have no problem with any theist who doesnt want to date/marry an atheist, I just don't like it when people use really stupid talking points to defend their opinion.

It's funny because this is the real reason they're not getting laid: insecurity. It has nothing to do with atheism, it's just game 101. If you're copping a bunch of pleas off the break, you're gonna have a very bad time. Women are immediately attracted to confidence, even if it's about something that pisses them off.

It's counterintuitive, but it can actually help to get a rise out of a chick, and when chicks get riled up, they give it up more often than not. Women will tell you this is not true, but they don't actually know wtf is going on with themselves on a primal level, as evidenced by the millions of women getting dug out by a$$holes.
