Why don't women like atheists?

If they grew up religious and ISFJ, it'll be highly unlikely that they'll jump ship.

Cause I gotta gauge how receptive people are to information before I waste my time. Pantheism is the belief that the universe in its totality is god, essentially everything that comes together composes "God". I don't know if I agree well enough to call myself a pantheist but I am very open to the idea, a lot of intelligent men and texts express this belief as well. Einstein said he was not an atheist, but open to Spinoza's god, so did Sagan's father, and not to mention the texts that speak of it. I believe it was the Vedas that says that the "Atman is the Brahman," which basically means that the individual and the universe are one. The eastern religions are generally more accepting of pantheism, you could read the Perennial Philosophy by Huxley, it has a lot of good quotes from these major texts, because they're hard to read by themselves

Source energy, is creative/sexual energy. It is the Creator. It is what permeates throughout everyone and everything. I use different names because I believe it is all divine. So when I said I believe in a Creator and when I mentioned source energy, they are the same.

I believe in Yin-Yang philosophy. They are two compliments of creative energy. Ex. Masculine and feminine/man and woman when they come together and become whole they combine into creative energy, which creates a child. Which is the true Holy Trinity.

I believe life is part of a spiritual journey, so my beliefs may shift and continue to develop so whether Im wrong or right depends on your perspective. It's all relative to me.

I'm an atheist, but I don't bring up religion in my dealings with women, so it's never really been an issue for me

But I have noticed online, in the media, and in real life that a lot of women are turned off by atheism.

Why? And don't come in with the stereotype about atheists being militant or wanting to force their "beliefs" on others or being obnoxious. That has nothing to do with the lack of belief in God.

My interest lies in answering what's so repulsive about the idea of atheism to women.

These are the real reasons why.

1. They are religious and want to be with someone else who is religious.

"religious people can't think for themselves" "they really believe in some man in the sky" stuff like unnecessary and no religious person want to be with someone who believes that and says things like that all of the time.
Just to let you all know, all religious people/christians don't believe all of the stories in the bible are real. Some people only believe there is a God, & the bible is just used to encourage people to be/think positive, give them hope.


Here's the 3rd reason.

I've seen some hook ups where one was religious and one was an atheist...it can work some times. In my younger days, whenever the conversation led to my letting her know I don't do the god thing, the women showed way more concern about what other people would think.

No idea. I think ENTP is their match though. The creative type who are idea machines, and jump from interest to interest. Very smart though. You put them in any field and nobody matches their output of ideas. If an INFJ believes in the ENTP's cause/project they can help them finish it before the ENTP jumps to another interest. That's the ENTP weakness although it also is a strength. They're always looking for a new adventure (not necessarily new relationships though). Sound like somebody you'd like?

But I want to clarify that ISFJ aren't the only types guys look for, but their description matches that personality type.

I don't have a problem with women. I think I've emphasized multiple times throughout this thread that I don't publically broadcast my beliefs in real life, and even if I did, I'm sure I still wouldn't have a problem with women.

This thread is not about MY problem with women (because I don't have one), this thread is about women's problem with the concept of atheism.
