how hard was it for you to get a license in NY?

It was easy...all you have to bring is personal ID, DOB/SSN, current address, list any past mental health history (if you have any), have no prior felonies or serious past convictions and be over 21.

Also, the reasoning for a license (home, business, etc).

You gotta apply at either your local county sheriff or police commissioner office & there's a fee also.

I have young kids in the house, so I clearly can’t have it on my person all the time.

It would have to be locked up in a closet somewhere... and at that point it would take way too much time for me to get if someone is actively breaking in.

Instead, we have good door bolts, cameras, lights, security system with door and motion sensors etc...

I had a nikka kick door my family crib as a kid growing up in my hood. Knew that once I was able to get one I’d get multiple guns.

Had an auntie that almost got killed by some nikka who kick doored her crib. If my cousin wasn’t there she’d be dead. My cousin and dude ended up wrestling on the floor over his gun. Gun ended up sliding away, cousin got that shyt and started bussin at him as dude ran off.
