I blame western media with all these themes of love in these chick flicks. Most girls thinks everything should be like a movie they saw on lifetime and end up leaving a guy because "it didn't feel right."

Worthwhile marriages are becoming more "fairy-tale" like in this land as time goes by.

It's only a happy ending in stories you hear and not the life you live.

That being said.

Choose better partners.

Our society as a whole produces an enormous number of shytty human beings in both sexes, so it's no major shocker that when two shytty individuals decide to form a shytty bond together, the outcome is unsurprisingly shytty.

When you say "men should just", you can't decide for all men. Just do you.
It sucks that you haven't been able to come across many loyal people in your life. But to be fair, who would want to remain loyal to such bitterness? The same few cats here have been bitter for so long! No confident, happy, and secure girl wants to be that negativity.
not falling for the personal attacks because that doesnt change the statistics. :yeshrug:

so if you have a great marriage that lasts 15 years and your wife wakes up and says shes not in love with you anymore and she felt this way for the past few years

choosign better partners means nothing because people can change, women go through menapause, sex drive changes, etc. as they increase in age. No one can tell what someone will be like in 5 or 10 or 15 years.

Let's just call it what it is. Women want to have their cake and eat it too and then when they're full and tired of cake.....they find something to replace it.

But as @Malta astutely pointed out, this is the society we've created in general: A "greed is good", "spit on the next man to get what you want", "its all about me", "caring about others is for losers", etc society. So why act surprised with this mentality translates to marriages? The couples profiled all sound like a bunch of overprivileged, spoiled brats who never know what they want, just that they want something more. Limiting that mindset to women isnt realty.

The psychologist seemed a bit too agenda-driven anyway, so who knows how valid her analysis of the couples is. Old white people love pimpin tradition and the "good ol days", and bellyaching about the fact that life was so much better when certain groups had less freedoms and the ability of choice that they do now.

lets try thos another way. next time you start your car, there's a 50% chance it will explode -- do you turn the key? :usure:

choosing the "right" women is all subjective, its like a dud grenade and a live grenade until you pull the pin you won't know which is real and which is fake are you going to take the chance?
