Why hasn't any NFL team offered Usain Bolt a contract?

It's a lot more to being a wide receiver than being fast.

He gotta run routes
Learn a playbook
Block
Get hit
Catch the damn ball
Be able to run after the catch after contact
Be able to fend of dbs trying to jam him at the line of scrimmage
None of this is rocket science breh . .

So certainly Usain Bolt can't be any worse than that . . and he has a GOAT level of speed

Heyward-Bey actually grew up in America and played football throughout grade school into college in Maryland. Bolt would be starting from scratch. Very hard to acquire high level football skills at age 30 even if you have the athletic ability.

Convince one of the richest athletes on the planet and the GOAT at his sport switch to a sport that:

-Doesn't have guaranteed money
-Make an annual salary that doesn't even come close to what he makes now
-More than likely turn his brain into mush in two years
-Train for an entirely different sport
-Learn how to play said new sport
-Be Part of a Team; complete with head cases and dumbasses, and probably won't play for a Brett Favre in his prime (a WR depends on a decent QB to be successful; it's a fukkin MIRACLE Calvin Johnson was as good as he was with the QBs he had to work with :wow:)
-Leave worldwide stardom to be a part of a niche Sport only relevant to one country on the planet

Allllll because OP thinks it's a good idea......
