Why have albums stopped leaking?

I pay more than close attention. I been doin this shyt since and I download shyt everyday. Like I said, step your sources up. You goin to a website to download your "leaks"? I already stated the fact that they often release digital a week before physical.

I already replied to like 3 other messages in this thread saying yes, some artists do early digital release dates but most aren't. YG's new shyt had the same physical and digital release date but didn't leak. Name me one album that leaked ahead of time in the last year or so

albums still leak, as long as artists give it out to DJ's and other people closely connected it will always leak. it actually helps more than hurting them. people still go out and buy music from their favorite artists.

Why does it have to be a week to be considered a leak? I am well aware of when Apple Music released it... and even with that being said it was still available to the public earlier than intended which constitutes a leak. Step ya resources up young buck.

The word "leak" itself means something that's released accidentally or unintentionally. It can't be a leak if its an official release authorized by the label and distrubution company dumbass

Next to no physical advance copies for the press anymore (I work in media and about 10 years ago we received most of the albums months in advance, usually right after they got officially announced). Nowadays it's some murky, heavy watermarked stream that's nigh impossible to leak.

You can't read. I didn't change anything I said. I said I had it 4 days early. In response to that you said Apple Music released it 3 days earlier. 4-3=1 day early. That's exactly why Apple Music put it out the next day... because they were forced to do something considering the fact it was getting bootlegged. Like I said... step your resources up and stop thinking your favorite blog that leaks albums is the be all and end all of leaks.

The label was well aware of the leak because all of the links were dead within hours. Then they put it out. It leaked, you missed it. I don't have no bolivian leak I get my leaks the same way I have for 15+ years.... step ya game up.
