Just like millennials to embrace them and then turn around and try to use it as an insult:skip:

Speak for yourself in your community where it's accepted and "accepted", clown. In most caribbean cultures LGBT still know their place.

Post still stands.

Gen x, which I'm a part of gets caught in the middle of the mess the "boomers" created and the "millinials" claim to be changing. WTF were we gonna do? We get in where we fit in cause we actually know the shyt was fukked from jump.

People talk about Gen X raising Millenials but all the Millenials I know came from Boomers.

Maybe because we're 80s babies but older Millenials have Silent Generation and Boomer parents mostly. Our older siblings and cousins are Gen X.

Only real differences I've noticed between Xers and Millenials (born before 1990) is that Xers were much more "off the chain" as a group in terms of sex, drugs etc. Millenials....we were either goody-goody or damn near serial killers. Not as much of a middle ground. Surveillance was much stronger for us so we couldn't get away with nearly as much shyt as our big brother Xers.

Millenials are also more liberal as a group. No matter how anti-establishment Xers were....they legacy of Reagan rubbed off on them more than they thought. They mistrust Democrats as much or more than Republicans.

Millenials lean Democrat only because we think they're more useful to our goals....not so much that we "trust" them.

Yup case in point Millenial Colin Kaepernick kneels in protest of innocent black people being killed. Gen Xer Jay-Z uses the situation as an opportunity to insert himself into NFL circles then says were past kneeling :francis:

Look what yall had to do to get it there though. Yall had to make acts that were fun loving and positive like Kid N Play Special Ed Black Sheep or Das Efx look lame instead of co-existing and everbody eating. c00n shyt if you ask me. After all the shyt the previous generations before went through to get us to a better standing in America yall clowns threw it away. Then go on to portray the worst stereotypes about black people there was.But that's a trait possessed by black gen xers "fukk yall I got mine " yall ain't shyt

as I previously said
I get it : you was picked on as a kid because you probably a herb azz lame … that’s not my fault

anyways, what you posted is fukking ridiculous and stupid because all those individuals are Gen Xers themselves and you’re gonna act like there was a superstars whom sold millions of records that was bringing positive vibes to the culture during the 90s like A Tribe Called Quest ,Outkast, Will Smith, Fugees, Lauryn Hill etc. etc.

it’s a damn shame that you on a hip-hop site and have little to no hip-hop knowledge

Millenials couldn't leave the house at 18 like us Gen Xers still were, and Gen Z is totally fukked. If you got Gen Z kids they will be with you until they at least 25. Cost of living is just way too high:francis:

I'm 28 and I've lived through two global recessions and a pandemic so these boomers can go to hell :stopitslime:

I can't even say how much I earn without feeling like a dikkhead yet my salary can only get me a 2-3 bedroom house AT BEST (not to mention needing upwards of £40k for a deposit) in the city I grew up in. We didn't fukk the world up, these boomers did.

You’ve said this before breh, and I agree :ehh:

Gen X for the most part, is the older brother gen that got all the good shyt the Boomers fed.

We millennials is that slightly younger brother that got the scrapes cuz our parents was tired already :mjlol:

At the time we thought we was Gen x, until we were shown the truth later :russ:.

Gen X had everything handed to them, coddled and got taught the game. Then when the game had to change because the Boomer bill was due, they said fukk y’all nikkas I got mine :birdman::therethere:

so please explain to me how in the fukk was my generation handed anything positive ???

as I said … we had it the worst of any modern day Gen … that’s not my opinion that is fukking factual

Y'all got handed the second greatest economic expansion in American history during the 90s. Your generation also let politicians destroy what remained of manufacturing in this country with NAFTA and deregulation. I'll give y'all crack and surviving the 80s but your generation had no major wars, no economic depression, or major foreign terrorist attacks. Black homeownership was boosted tremendously during the 90s. Gen Y got handed 9/11 and the War on Terror, gas prices hitting record highs during the 2000s, the 2007 recession that destroyed a large percentage of black wealth and homeownership, a fukking pandemic and second economic recession, a housing market on crack, the opioid epidemic, crunk and mumble rap and autotune (shyt was garbage) and record college debt. Oh, and we are now dealing with the too obvious fallout from climate change. Everyone had they struggles, but at least your generation will be comfortably dead when the planet starts to cook cook. At least yall had 90s r&b and hip hop.

I sincerely think you’re confusing the term handed
because that term in this type of context means someone born into leading them up to being a teenager before they become an adult …. so you using the second greatest economy which happened in the mid to late 90s it’s absolutely ridiculous …. because we were in our mid-20s to early 30s back then
Which essentially means yall was handed the second graders economy from that era because y’all was babies/teenagers back then … as I previously posted we were babies/teenagers when the 2nd worst economy happened in the late 70’s/early 80’s … BTW that Recession was way worse than in 2007

And yes we didn’t have a physical war but we had something called the Cold War and that Cold War was way more serious than been Iraq and Afghanistan war because let’s keep it a buck Al-Qaeda and the Taliban nothing more than a muslim gang … on the other hand Russia was a super power and had as many nuclear weapons as we did and made it be known that they had no problem using it …. we grew up in a time where you didn’t know if the world was gonna end due to the US and Russia getting into World War III …. shyt, I remember being a kid and the teacher every several weeks having to do bomb drills & having us crawl under our desk to take cover

And yes we did have our own pandemic it was a little bit different but very significant towards our generation and it was called aids/HIV

Finally I don’t know how you’re going to blame climate change on us … scientist discovered this potential calamity way back in the 60s
