Ive dated and been around Mexicans...and the breakdown of their family unit begins around the 2nd and 3rd gen in America.....they have alotta baby momma drama as well as single motherhood too...
Hell Im Dominican and watching a Dominican American family & Dominican family unit straight from the country is like night and day esp when it comes to values....

my brother died a few years ago, his wife held him down through a good solid 10 years of illness. during which time he got his Masters degree. he wouldve been in some fukkin home if it werent for her. she remarried, and I told dude you are getting one of the best women thats out there. I love her to death for how she stood by my brother. now my dad cant take care of himself but my stepmom holds him down. she could send him to a home and be done with his ass.
some of you need to also think....if you get old, have mental issues or get in an accident, have physical disabilities...who will hold you down? not saying that all women will but do right by them and they should reciprocate.
agree to an extent, and I did say in a previous post Western Civilized cultures, not just America. yes, hits Blacks first and worst. put look at some shows like House of Cards, the Tyler Perry joint with Sanaa Lathan, and many others. this shyt is real when it comes to a lot of white Americans because of the economic disparity between them and Black Americans. white women are more apt to stay because of the financial situation whereas blacks only really have sex to rely on holding a relationship together if there are no other basic foundations. which is why many times once the sex wanes or the open cheating begins, the relationship is almost instantly beyond reconciliation.

its not, but it doesnt mean there arent woman out there with that capability. but the basis has to have a foundation that exceeds looks or money. you have to really know a person and figure out if you will even have a chance to be compatible.

I dont think it is rare in terms of the woman's qualities, again, we are talking about a complex situation. it depends on the individual and how the union is formed and built upon. every situation is different. like I didnt just marry the first person that gave me some ass or told me they loved me or I wouldve been married at 16. lol.
I was selectful and knew what I wanted. that doesnt mean it was a lock to work out, but through some rocky times and near separation/divorce, it only got stronger with time and now we are at the best place we have ever been and its been consistent for years now.
sn: I know someone who's husband got ill and could no longer have sex with her. she not leaving him, but he did tell her that it was ok if she were to go out and fulfill those needs he is no longer able to provide.

yes, if you get home and your wife bytchin or actin nutty or out doing her own thing and you got ratchet kids doing wht they want to do. on the flipside, there are loving wives that lift your spirits and children that you are so proud of that every time you see them you know you did a good job raising them. there is no right or wrong, only different situations. too bad there are not more of the latter.
