All products are cheaper when you make it from scratch. That's basically business 101, but we can still use the example here with food.
All you are paying for, no matter how cheap processed food seems, is for the company to prepare it for you. They are taking a product you can make yourself, and mass producing it so it stays "fresh" longer, cooks up faster, comes with "flavor", and seems cheap. These companies want you to believe they doing you a favor. They killing us man.
It ain't just noodles. Any frozen meat, go check it against the real thing. Bet the real thing is cheaper. But you gotta actually go cook now. It's not gonna taste the same each time if you don't season it right. Do you even know how to season? Oh I gotta bread my own chicken wings now? shyt let me get this pack. You ever seen a nikka roll some dough to make a pizza? Dough cheap as fukk with some sauce and some cheese.. Make pizzas all day. But let me get this Frozen joint for 9.99 cause fukk that.
They do it with healthy food too. Salad boxes for 7.99, 9.99. You know how cheap lettuce, a tomatoe, a cucumber, blah blah blah is? And you can probably make 4-5 of those salads for that. But now you gotta make a salad.
I'm not going on you. I'm trying to say this to everyone who thinks it's some money thing. I SAVE money by shopping healthy. You on your last $20. Get some eggs, bread, a 10 pack of chicken breast, some rice, and some spices and that's damn near a WEEK of eating right there. Get a 5 pack and a 3 lb of beef and some shells, cheese, beans and make tacos all week. Make a goddamn salad. Throw some chicken in there if it's killing you.
It's not tofu but it's better eating straight bullshyt and using the excuse, oh there ain't no whole foods in the hood. You can find this shyt in Aldie's
