Say what you want but it's true
Canadians played a big part in Hollywood, especially early on.

Lots of the first movie stars were Canadians.
Ever hear of Warner bros? Lol
Canadian.
MGM?
Canadian bred....well one of them lol
Just for starters

Actually Montreal and nyc have a close history
Mtl is one of the oldest ports in North America
Montreal is also an old city and has been able to maintain a lot of its culture

But whatever
You have your mind made up
If I would have judged every American city based off of one or two I would sound real ignorant but ghead bruh do you
Isnt that what everyone does with america? when in actuality every State is like a different country with their own laws, history and culture. Its what folks do. Heck folks are in here sizing up your 3 with our ENTIRE country, now you see how ridiculous this is. 90% of our States have at least one major city...do the math.

Haven't been to Montreal, so I can't speak on that, my uncle lives there for work/family. So Im going based off what he says coming from LA, says its quite small, very very cold but it does have history, that part is correct. But he's bored and says places close early. Obv great for family (Ive been saying this every post about Canada), but as far as world class, says it lacks of lot of scenes (not to say their arent any, but that the total of subcultures arent on par with world class cities). Again, I can't really speak on it since I haven't been, just hearsay from a cat that travels a lot. My mom has been, she enjoyed it, but said the cold whooped her ass :pachaha:

But the point is why they move to America if Canada was so great and America was so lame? yall coulda had a Canywood or something. :mjcry:

That Canadian brain drain must be a bytch, but fortunately we have a free trade agreement so yall get everything back but with them taxes doe. :mannypac:

Lets keep it real man, Canada is just another State. Yall got your State laws, your own lil thing going on over there, but its practically just america without the guns and black people.

Close early?
There are after hours clubs in Montreal that don't even open til 3 am

But is this about the lack of subcultures? Or something else?
Cuz you keep changing your stance and your argument. Cuz when I go to Seoul or rio there is not an abundance of subcultures

What you are saying is that our big three just aren't American enough for you
Which is fine. And you are certainly entitled to think that.

It's like me saying that I prefer Boston over nyc or San Diego over la

That doesn't mean ny and la aren't world class cities.

You have your opinion and I have mine BUT world class is world class regardless of personal opinion

Ppl move to the states for money and opportunities
No one will deny that to make it in entertainment you go to Hollywood

No different than ppl from London or Paris do
That doesn't make them less of a world class city.

Canada just doesn't have the resources to compete with the American machine (nor do Aussies, Brits,Asians etc) so they come here and try to make it

Look at how any great canadian actors there are
How many great musicians there are

Really? I always thought Seattle was shytting on the rest of America fitness wise.

I don't know the fitness level of Seattle as far as American cities, but Vancouver and Seattle are very similar geographically, weather etc and Seattle the city seems steeper than Vancouver, so you would think people would be fit climbing up those hills. I rarely saw a fat person in Vancouver, it was actually quite shocking. But even though I did see fat/ overweight people in Seattle, I didn't see the super obese people you find in the American midwest.

Dual citizenship. Live in Vancouver. If I move back to the U.S. it would only be L.A.(GOAT) or Bay Area.
