Gangsta rap was poison to the black youth. Growing up in the 90s when everyone wanted to be a member of the LOX or Ruff Ryders was cancer. All the nikkas mean mugging, going to jail and being proud of it, educated black folk pushed in the background, anything different was considered "white," and or course the pointless deaths.

not saying him personally or gbe is making anyone violent. but music is a big part of pop culture and if the culture is violence it subconsciously affects people. not that our society isn't obsessed with violence anyway, but music has more of a personal influence on a lotta people. he's a product of his environment tho
