You can have them making it without the spices, you just have to ask. I mean they look at you like

oddly enough, I dont even really like chinese food, its like 4th on my list, but sichuan, that was some outta control delicious flavors.

Edit: Since sichaun was mentioned I was reminded of Manchurian friend rice, what y'all feel/know about that?

Pho is vietnamese, and one of my fav. best pho i ever had was in SF.

my favorite asian food is Thai, then maybe indian, then chinese. come to think of it chinese is like 6th on my list. mexican, italian, american (creole), thai, indian, are ahead of chinese for me. but out of the 3 east asian, chinese above all, korean last.

I'm from, and in Hong Kong breh. Eating REAL Chinese food everyday :wow:
I spent a few years in the UK though, Chinatown has some pretty authentic spots. I still remember that little spot on the edges where you could get a bigass bowl of chicken rice for like six quid. always a queue

eat the steamed rice rolls with pork or prawns in them

they might be a little slimy at first but you'll dig it. and don't pour too much soy sauce on it otherwise it'll overpower the meat.

peking duck.. you must've seen them feathery brehs hanging on the window front. order a portion and wrap it with the cucumber and spring onions, a little duck sauce. WOIIIIIIIII i could do with some.

we got these little pork dumplings with soup INSIDE them, the name translates to little dragon buns. dip them with a bit of vinegar and it'll blow your taste buds breh

i personally love chicken feet but i know westerners trip about that. order one portion and see if you can suck the meat off the bones (inside your mouth, not outside) without looking a fool :mjlol:

fuk kin fried rice is also dope

steamed fish is ALSO dope

steamed chicken is even more dope.. it brings out flavours in chicken you might not have had tasted before :lupe:
plus the juice you get from it goes with white rice like white bytches and starbucks

fried mantis shrimp is also dope

you must try the fried beef with flat noodles. a good plate will look like this

without overly heavy flavouring or too much oil.

you can always tell if the spot is good if true asians are munching there.

oh and try the runny steamed custard buns. that's my fukking kryptonite breh :wow:
everytime i catch up with my extended fam they order me like 15 of these fukkers

so GOAT i can't even describe you to the piffery. If you order this at a Chinese spot, and it turns out as a semi-solid paste and it isn't runny with a not overly strong, but noticeable taste of sweet egg yolk, leave. leave the spot and don't ever eat there again.

i can handle the Caribbean spicy jerk stews or Nigerian Joloff rice with the scotch bonnets (goddamn they're hot as fukk),or piri piri, but that's about my limit. I seen hotsauceheads eating spices on the Scoville scale in the millions, talkin about pepper spray levels, talkin about nothing can save you levels, talking about satanic baptism through your anus levels :russ:
whenever i order the mild spice my little cousins are like :stopitslime: and :francis: and :pacspit: and :ooh: and :childplease: and :birdman: and :aicmon: and :mindblown: and most definitely :camby: respectively.

When I lived in MURRLAND I'd eat at the carryout like 4 or times a week. That, combined with a steady diet of malt liquor and paul masson, did a number on a nikka...guess what I still crave? 5 wings, fried rice, mumbo sauce, 2 cheesesteak eggrolls. I barely drink now, but I want that fukkin carryout. It's bad news.
