Ultimately it's up to the individual. I can't fault someone for waiting or for having sex on a first date. It's their life and resulting consequences.

American culture is very heavily tied with morals and values on a variety of things, including sex.
We are notorious for making premarital sex the sin of all sins and put the punishment of that sin on women only.
This is the reason why a lot of chicks be wanting to fukk early on but don't out of fear of actually being shamed and having their good name tarnished or why women will mistake feelings of lust for love because they have been continuously taught that a woman desiring, liking, and having sex is a very bad thing and she must be punished for it.
Interestingly enough, men rarely have to deal with that.
I know I might be sounding like a feminist right now but there's no denying that America has conflicted views and feelings when it comes to sex and women usually have to deal with the brunt of the sexual backlash.

Guys are so confusing. Call you worthless for having sex, tell you to respect your body and that no man will take you seriously if you give it up quickly/easily then turn around say that you shouldn't make a man wait, he won't take you seriously and he'll seek sex elsewhere, you should have sex when he's ready to have sex. Then call you hoe.
