I hate to go back to the Gabby Sidibe comparison but the similarities are notable. Both had a breakout role where they played a negative portrayal and were nominated for an Oscar, tons of media exposure, and were "embraced" by the white media.

its sad that this is occurring because Lupita can actually act & is pretty. That other girl shouldn't be in the same sentence with her
