Not technically right, but I understand. My sister that I share my biological mother has always been my sister not my half-sister. We don't have the same father. My half-sister that I share a father with has always been referred to as my half-sister by both my parents.

Most people do when we being technical. I mostly say I have 4 brothers unless people ask me why my 2 younger brehs are light skin then I say cause we got different moms. So they technically half brehs.
