Like i can legit go an entire weekend just chilling, lounging etc completely comfortable...but literally every girlfriend/relationship i ever had always wants to nag and complain and "find things to do"..constantly asking "what are we gonna do tonight, tommorrow, five years from now etc etc? "

like women cant just take a moment in life to just be...the constantly have to find something to do. Im legit curious about that.

There was also a viral pic a few weeks ago where women where upset that guys apartment can just be bare bones/the essentials and someone mentioned that women are so upset because they realize men can just exist and be at peace with themselves without feeling the need to preoccupy their time/space.

Breh, some of us actually have real careers that wear us out, not working at Foot Locker and slacking off Monday-Friday.

For nikkas in real careers, the weekend gives you time to recharge.

I remember when I was younger, I had a desire to see the world and travel, go to clubs (still like that sometimes) and just explore. After a while, you settle in. Sometimes a nice warm house is where you want to be. I don't even like getting in my car to go to the store in cold weather lol.

Sometimes it can be a tiring week. You just want to chill that entire weekend.

Or sometimes you just want to go out Friday night with the boys like old times and tell your girl come over Saturday night to chill. But she's going to have a problem with this because you went out with the boys Friday, so now you have to taker her out Saturday night instead of chilling with her at home.

She stood home Friday night because I'm the source of her entertainment (no hobbies, not going out with her girl friends), now I have to take her out Saturday.

Sunday comes you gotta prepare for the workweek.

My point is, if you’re working a real high-stakes job, the weekend gives you time to recharge. Most truly successful people make time to recharge. If you are truly grinding as an employee or business owner, if you do not make time to recharge, you will eventually burn out.

I’m not saying you have to be in the house every weekend.

But, the Thursday-Sunday on-the-go lifestyle this new-age FOMO culture is promoting is not conducive to being successful in one of those high-stakes, high-paying careers in finance, technology, entrepreneurship, etc.

Most women aren’t in those careers, so they would never understand how mentally taxing those careers are despite the big paychecks.

And most Coli nikkas aren’t sniffing $100k/year in their lifetimes, so they’d never understand the work that goes into making that type of money.

Once you cross that $100k threshold, the shyt doesn’t get easier! The expectations rise. I’ve been a six-figga nikka since my 20s. So, I think I know what I’m talking about.

As a Black man, to maintain that type of salary, you’ve got to be on your A-game.

If a woman can’t understand that, she’s not the right woman for you. Because, if you wear yourself out trying to entertain her and it ends up impacting your work, your ass may be out of a job and she’ll be on to the next nikka.

You’d think that such a woman would understand that the better you are prepared to hit the office on Monday, the better off she’ll be as well in the long run due to your increased earning power, moving up the ladder, etc. But, they’d rather nag about getting out!

Get your rest, brehs. Look out for yourself and your pockets because women are always going to look out for themselves.
