Along with the theme for the thread, also, that length of time, she should be comfortable in her own skin and with you. They always have to make something a goddamn show, it's the worst. You know her much better than I, but I wouldn't get married, period, having done it before, and for sure you shouldn't marry a woman with those silly type of requirements. Look at this situation as a barometer to see how she gets down. Then, imagine 40 plus years of the shyt, or getting your pockets destroyed in a divorce. Act accordingly.

These are facts. My ex would hate on her friends, randoms, whoever, and look at me to make her life some glamorous shyt. She had the nerve to tell me I need to work harder and make more money to improve her life, and had no kids. I'm like "what are you doing"?
I just wish I cut my losses earlier. She made me feel wack until I realized she would never be satisfied and I stopped that shyt. Either I invented some shyt and got rich, hit the lottery, or had to hear that bullshyt. Out she went

I probably should’ve added more context but I literally took a shower, put jeans on and a button down and ordered food on Caviar lol. She had cooked for me the past few nights while I was working from home so it was something to switch it up.

I hear you, I’m not in the mental space right now for online debates, but I’ll say this. Before this relationship the longest I’d been with someone was a few months, mainly for the reasons mentioned in this thread. I’d get annoyed easily, preferred being on my own and get tired of having to think of shyt to do all the time
The reason why things are clicking for me this time around is I’m with someone who is way more emotionally intelligent as far as knowing when to give me space and when to just chill. Helps that she can cook her ass off too. But, I’ve learned to compromise a lot more and be mindful of things that she needs while she’s mindful of what I need. It’s good to be comfortable but every now and then you gotta switch it up, do something spontaneous to keep the spark going. I thought initially that the “spark” thing was purely for women but nah, I need that too, especially having never been in a serious relationship before this one. I’m very reactive when it comes to relationships so when I feel like she’s bored or disinterested I start feeling the same toward her.
Obviously you shouldn’t be with some one who wants to always do shyt and isn’t comfortable just chilling but if she’s reasonable (by your standard) then there’s nothing wrong with switching things up every now and then.
Now if you can’t tolerate going out at all, ain’t nothing wrong with that either but I’d advise not being in a relationship then.
