They system is broken. I know this girl with a masters in IT and she still broke, and she already has experience. Imagine that, a masters degree and still can't find a job in a "hot" field.

the statistics are misleading. When they calculate the employment rate they also take account part time work and casual work, which means that even if youre only getting one hour shifts per a month at Macdonalds, youre still considered employed. Not to mention most middleclass jobs are being replaced by low earning low potential jobs. The government is always trying to make the employment rate seem better than it really is. American brehs need to start thinking for yourself, your company or even the government doesnt give a fuc about your life. The government has been bought by the rich.Unemployment stats are misleading, they can make them say whatever they want, but people out in the field pounding the pavement know the deal

.How long can this system last? Got dudes with degrees taking minimum wage jobs cus their resume looks better and they cant find work in their own shytty sector. They better start building some more prisons because from what Ive seen nothing is getting better. I read a thread on here about unemployment being the lowest its been in years or something. Well thats not the picture im seeing. And im sure the people who came up with them stats arent staying where im at and seeing this shyt every day.

Man shyt like this makes me glad I'm taking my time thru schoolThey system is broken. I know this girl with a masters in IT and she still broke, and she already has experience. Imagine that, a masters degree and still can't find a job in a "hot" field.![]()
I'm a 22 yr old sophomore but at least I'm not straddled with debt and holding a worthless degreeMan shyt like this makes me glad I'm taking my time thru schoolI'm a 22 yr old sophomore but at least I'm not straddled with debt and holding a worthless degree
im getting into it myself. Obviously telling people you're coming with your ipod touch wont really get you a gig but you do need to know how to frame and properly edit pictures, lighting, etc before blowing money on a proper camera, so yeah any camera really is good starting point. Also at just basic weddings, birthdays, local events people dont really know or care what kind of camera you have they just want it to look good. It's nikkas with $7000 cameras who dont know how to take or edit a picture and people with film and entry level camera who can do much better. Limitations just grow with the camera as you become more experienced. Look into mirrorless cameras too.
Look on craigslist for gigs, put out your own ads, or even just try to sell your own pictures locally. Idk where you live but here there's an arts festival every friday and it's packed with hipsters buying shyt.
I see some local community colleges are running photography courses? Are these just a waste of time or could these help me? Im skeptical about all education establishments because of my bad experiences with schools. A lot of the stuff they teach is pure bullshyt and it still gets taught like its facts. I feel like photography is a craft you can pick up by yourself and make your own style. Like art. Its hard to tell someone how to draw and what to draw.
realest shyt i got a job now but i was in tha same situation i lied on my resume to get the job aswell
dont get me started on how these hoes look at u when u broke at mamas house with no car
used to steal money from mamas wallet just to get some weed to chill me out for the day
i'd go over to my boys crib especially on payday so he could shout me some green![]()

Growing up id always been told "do good in school or you will end up at mcdonalds for the rest of your life". Turns out theres 100 other nikkas applying for the same one mcdonalds opening.
I only apply for the minimum wage jobs because of my lack of education and criminal record. Ive been rejected from every minimum wage job you can think of. Like really at this point id happily clean toilets for some money. Turns out im not "good enough" to clean toilets.
You wonder why nikkas out here robbing when you cant get employed at the lowest level of jobs available. This is how they break you. They make you feel worthless and hungry until you are pushed to the point of commiting crimes to eat.
1. lack of education; you can go to a junior college and take a class or a couple of classes and receive govt. grants like a pell grant. Also, taking classes at a junior college will help you get a job because it will show employers that your turning your life around. A couple of my homies had records and could not get a job. I told them to start taking classes at our juco and they found a job.
2. criminal record go to you circuit court clerk and try to get criminal record expunged. Depending on your state; if your were acquitted of your crime they will expunge your past. http://askjudgemathis.com/expungement-information

I got a good friend who deals. He hit me up on saturday and smoked me out for free. Feels bad not having my own weed tho
My mom so broke she never has any cash. All of her wages go to bills and food. Struggle is real. What you know about cleaning out every coat pocket for weed crumbs so you can smoke the shyttiest bowl ever just to try and get high. Got dust and fluff and shyt sticking to the weed. Eventually you find enough crumbs to get a little bowl together. Then you finish it and you aint even that high![]()
