that's a very subjective decision you have to make personally. I myself would never spend money on photography or art or music classes. Like the saying goes a person who goes to college for music becomes a music teacher. But there are alot of prominent artists who went to schools.
But in the year 2014 pretty much any willing person can teach themselves most things you'd learn at college. Im only taking digital media classes for the degrees. I know how to design/animate better than what im willing to be paid but like you said they want degrees

It depends on each state and the level of the crime. If you can not get it expunge; try getting your records sealed. Because getting your records expunged is like erasing your criminal history and getting it sealed means it cannot be accessed by normal standards like employment or applying for a loan.
Also, if your trying to look for a job you need to lay off the weed cuz what happens if you get called for a job and have to take a drug test. That's the main reason why I stopped smoking because the bud fukked up my chances of getting a decent job and I been smoking since I was 13 and stopped at 22. I'm 28 now

No. I didnt do good in school because I was a problem child. And a lot of what they were trying to teach was actually false and not correct at all. So to do good on the tests you have to lie and give the wrong answers. I have no interest in filling my head with false information. The school system isnt based on how intelligent you are. Its based on how well you can blindly follow instructions and not cause any fuss about the wrong information they are giving you. I just want a humble job like a cleaner so It can help towards dissolving the ego. Ive had ego death on magic mushrooms and its fukking incredible but its not permanent. So I meditate daily now and try not to listen to my ego and get into dumb shyt. I dont drink anymore. I dont steal anymore. But in societies eyes Im a loser or an "underachiever" as you said. Its a shame really. Think about the guy who willingly cleans toilets so he can eat next time you are pissing all over the floor at a public toilet. I find it hilarious how the more Ive gotten into Buddhism and actually trying to be a better person you get shunned by this society. Because everything is a competition and if you arent constantly busy you are all of the sudden "lazy". shyt blows my mind it really does.

Now I can't speak for everywhere and everybody because I don't know how it is in your city, but I job switch like a motherfukker with these low wage jobs... I've gotten/accepted (even though I may not have actually worked these places) at least ten spots THIS CALENDAR YEAR ALONE. You can get a job, easy... even with a record, even without experience. It's just you're not going to get the job you want (or feel you "deserve") and the pay is gonna be shyt.
I'd willing to bet anything if you walked into five restaurants in your city RIGHT NOW and asked to work as a dishwasher, you'd have a job by the end of the day. I'd damn near guarantee it.

Youve somehow missed the whole point of my thread. I ONLY apply to MINIMUM WAGE JOBS. Im applying for shyt like mcdonalds, toilet cleaning, leaflet distributor, dishwasher etc. I specifically said in this thread about what jobs im applying for.

I know what you said, but I was responding more in the general sense.
My point stands though... I'm not sure how you haven't gotten a job. I hope you're not just filling out Internet apps and hoping somebody will call you though, you've gotta be more proactive than that. If you live in at least a decent sized city you shouldn't have a REAL problem getting a job, even with felonieS, I know this from personal experience.

The only jobs I ever had were temp jobs where they hire anybody. Nobody has had the compassion to offer me a full time job.
I do live in a city but I cant afford a bus fare. Thats how tight money is right now. Im literally living on nothing. I eat one meal a day and thats the meal my mom cooks in the evening.
And lord knows I cant afford a car or car insurance. or gas.
