Only Black people policing if you're "black enough" do this. Way too much time on their hands and retarded logic.

Imagine thinking it's taboo for a Black Man to listen to some Mozart or a Hans Zimmer soundtrack. Hilarious thing is that they talk about "cac music" yet will turn around and listen to Hip-hop tracks that will sample all types of music or "mafioso rap" which is 100% inspired by Italian mobsters lmao

Let a black man pull up bumping some Maroon 5 or Kings Of Leon and the world looks at him funny, but it's open season on black music in the opposite scenario.

Car full of whiteboys bumping Wu Tang or 50 nobody bats an eye.

Ultimately why is this?
If you listen to maroon 5 people already probably look at you funny for other reasons

Unless of course you train Brazilian jiu jitsu and then people will look at you as a breathing version of 911

if I see anyone black or white bumping Kings of Leon I’m looking at them like :dahell:
Funny, but they got some decent shyt .

Technically, alot of cac music was originally Black music.

Rock
Hip Hop
RnB
Jazz
House

The list goes on

We even got a thread on shoegaze and metal roots from black americans.

But yeah, no one really thinks this shyt outside of high school.
Say it louder for the people in the back. Grown folk gonna listen to what the what the hell they want. And like you said, we were progenitors of a lot of this shyt anyway.

It’s only taboo on the internet…
I liked hard rock when I was 14 and asked my parents for an electric guitar for Christmas and even now 10 years later they act like rock is the only thing I like and say its for white people.

I listen to much more hip hop, pop and r&b now but because I expressed interest in rock back then they think that that’s all I’m into.

I do this regularly. The only music I turn up with the windows down are white girl pop songs, pre-70s soul music/ballads, or modern R&B songs with actual sangging in it. I bump murder music with the windows up or in my ear phones.

I'm trynna change the culture:blessed:

I feel like this is mainly a 90's/hip hop thing. If you go back to the 80's, 70's, 60's a lot of black people were fans of white artists. Elvis, Beatles, Rolling Stones all had black fans (they just didn't think they were the greatest shyt in the world like white people did). Some older rappers like Scarface and Ice T will tell you they were heavy metal fans growing up too...

Always listened to what I wanted to.

I can go from Björk, Saint Etienne, Within Temptation, Taylor Swift to Bobby Womack, Hilary Hahn, Lupe, Earl Sweatshirt and back to Luther Vandross.

Not letting anyone gatekeep me from music because of race or skin colour.
