First of all I'm not from Europe, and for your information Scandinavians, Dutches, Germans and a lot of other European countries are bigger than Americans.

I should have asked you to give me a list of Olympic level players currently playing, not this one, which lists players from the last 2 decade (Overmars? Eusebio? You are really clawing into the past ). The only players here that were/are actually fast are Henry, Martins, Walcott and possibly Valencia (the rest are just fast dribblers). And you can't prove these 4 or so guys have Olympic speed, like I can with current NFL players (since a significant number participate in track and other athletic events), so the above list is moot.

The rest of the world seems to like Hockey & Baseball, sports that require equipment, the sport will never catch on outside the US because there are way too many rules and it's not something you can do on your own.
