I'm always blown when people bring this up. You really think that was an offensive foul?

Man everybody forgot about that game, but I doubt anything come close to Bibby "fouling" Kobe's forearm with his mouth.
Only other bad call that really stands out from that series was Samaki Walker hitting that half-court three after the halftime buzzer (Horry game).![]()
Everybody forgot that game cuz of the Game 6 fukkery. That had to be why Game 7 was so under control and fair.
that entire 4qt and OT. Bibby was the only one w/any heart, actually I remember Hedo repping too, but he was still green at the time. More than anything that's why even though they got robbed in Game 6 I don't feel too bad about it.
Wassup with all these Alex Jones NBA fans on here?

I DONE, THE NBA IS FIXED!!!"The GOAT theory is: David Stern wants to trump up interests and drag this for 7 games
I just can't pull myself to believe that David Stern calls refs before games and tells them who he would like to win. If there is any cheating involved it is most likely by the refs alone and not to completely blow games but to cover spreads. The GOAT theory is: David Stern wants to trump up interests and drag this for 7 games
Guess the NBA anticipates low Finals ratings or something
There were 4 small (mayne one was mid market) market teams in the Finals and they still on it
My fav is when; a team that's been driving to the basket all game gets.more calls than the jumping shooting team and they holler "I DONE, THE NBA IS FIXED!!!"
Some of them make good points but; the fact that they can't be objective and always go for antisemitism, makes it hard to stomach.
Yea actual on purpose game fixing isnt that common...but we call it fixing because its so easy to predict what refs are gonna do from game to game in a series like this which aint a good thing. Theres talk about them being too soft on Bron so they go extra hard on him like in game six. Now they were too hard on him and the heat so anyone with a fukkin brain can see its gonna be a foul in game 7 whenever a Pacer breathes on em. Basically the whole reffing system revolves around how they decide to treat superstars on that particular night and the game suffers as a result of it.
Man bullshyt. People would say calls were bullshyt because of the home court advantage but nobody was on this super conspiracy shyt like this back in the 90's. The shyt is annoying and why the fukk do the nikkas saying it's rigged still tune in and get homotional? I mean it is rigged right, so why watch? I don't watch wrestling for that very reason.
yeah, conspiracies only began because of lebron and the heat. everything revolves around lebron. On June 11, 1984, the Globe ran an article written by Dan Shaughnessy called Bird: NBA Wanted 7. After the Celtics lost Game 6, Larry Legend was pissed, but not at the Lakers or his teammates. He was steamed at the Commish.
"Stern told a fan that the NBA needed a seven-game series, that the league needed the money. When the commissioner makes a statement like that to a fan, you know it's going to be tough. When Stern makes a statement like that, things are going to happen. You just don't make statements like that and not expect anything out of it. He's the commissioner and he shouldn't be saying anything like that. The NBA wanted a seventh game because they wanted to make more money and they got their wish. There is no reason for me to lie. He said it. He's a man and he'll live up to it. He may say he said it in jest. But I'm out there trying to make a living and win a championship."
Those were some pretty strong words from Bird**. Was there any validity to the claim? It's hard to say, since Game 6 is the only game of that series I haven't seen. But I can tell you this: The Celtics were in control for most of the game, leading by four after one quarter, by six at halftime, and by 11 with 3:59 left in the third quarter. But then things turned around in a hurry, as the Lakers outscored the Celtics 46-24 the rest of the way, enjoying a 35-17 advantage*** at the line and winning 119-108 despite Bird's 28/14/8. [This information comes from the Boston Celtics 1984 Championship Official Souvenir Book.]

You kinda get the vibe that they were setting the table for game 7.
The NBA needs a 7 game series. With the Finals not set to begin until Thurs, I think they wanted to draw this shyt out.I'll admit, the refs have seemed pretty unbiased this series.Haven't really been many "superstar calls".
But now they they've got the long series that they've wanted, I think the NBA will show their true colors tonight. That beast is about to get let out of it's cage, claws sharpened.
They're clever business men.I think they reffed Lebron as if he was just a regular ol player in game 6, so they can turn around and compensate him in the most important game of the series.
Hibbert especially fukked up.He's going to be a target out there. He'll probably pick up 3 fouls in the 1st quarter, just to appease the homo's
Keep in mind that refs get paid 'per game'. Donaghy pointed this out and why refs may want series to go as long as possible. Get you and your colleagues paid for 7 games instead of 4. Players cheat and take PEDs so they can play better and make more money. Why is it so far fetch to think that these refs aren't manipulating games so they can also get paid more money?
