Why isn't "Because the internet" considered a classic yet?

I remember for some ridiculous reason I cant remember I downloaded that shyt. Gave it a listen one day and I just remembered to delete it when I get home. That should summarize my opinion on it

Depends on your definition of classic. Some say influence is the biggest determiner of whether or not something is classic. Others like I guess you think its purely quality based. I think its both, GKMC is classic even though id consider it a 8/10 album. Im sure one day people will call yeezus classic even though its god awful.

Well then its not classic its just something you really like. I think stay trippy is the best album to come out since GKMC but you wont catch me calling it classic. God damn that album bangs.

honestly i just don't like his music or give it a chance cause he's says rapping is easy and kinda comes off like he doesn't take it serious, then you're not trying hard enough. Especially for the lane he's trying to run in. Drake and Kanye already exist

album is dope but i dont consider it a classic

i look at it like this

the people who rode hard for GKMC because it felt like a movie to them should fukk with this album heavy cuz he made a more complex version of that movie concept even down to how the production was more in sync with the overarching story(ex. how the end of worldstar changed to a jazz beat cuz they ended up goin to a jazz bar after the shooting)

just like gambino said in an interview there's different styles in hip hop. The people that don't like him listen to other things.

People complain about everything, here is an artist who goes about trying to be artistic and never claimed to be "hood" and he gets crucified for it or called a Kanye clone. He's taken no more influence from Kanye than the rest of the industry has, including your so called "hood" artists.

Liked a couple off of it but classic by no means. Too slow, replay value low as fukk. I still like Gambino but the album was average.
