Why isnt bragging about being from the suburbs looked at as c00ning?

I noticed this, because last year I had a job inspecting houses for a real estate broker out here in dallas. The majority of his houses were section 8 hud homes. I was shocked to see neighborhoods with 4500 squarefoot houses, with not ONE white person in site. At the same time, I remember going to inspect a house in what I thought would be the hood, since it was in the southside of the city the most dangerous part. As im driving down the road it looks hoood n shyt, nothin but mexicans and nikkas, but i turn into the neighborhood the house was in, drive like 3 more blocks inside, and see nothing but cacs in nice ass brand new homes. I even inspected another house in the hood, that was in a gated community, full of cacs, again right in the middle of the hood

unless its a private school it aint shyt. Public schools in the burbs aint no better tahn public schools in the inner city, education wise.

Gonna have to disagree with the bold. Suburban schools can afford better supplies and often attract superior educators. Part of the problem with inner city schools is that most the teachers can't relate to their students and thus struggle to connect with them. There is this scholarship teachers can qualify for but only if they agree to teach at poorer schools for an equal amount of time they receive the aid. So many inner city schools have teachers that only plan on sticking around until their obligations are expired. Some of which half ass their time at these poorer schools. There are many racist teachers who don't give their all when teaching minority students because they think they are unteachable.

I'm not soley placing the blame on teachers. School districts have a lot to do with it too. School districts are usually drawn in such a way that poorer students are warded off into shyt schools and richer students to better ones.

The real question should be why do we think somebody is soft if they are from the burbs( Years ago I was guilty of this myself. Whenever we would go out to the county to play ball, we automatically thought everybody from there were clowns/soft)

Some people rather be broke and have a safe place where there kid(s) can play, having patrols around the neighborhood or don't have to look out their window and see people standing on the corner 24/7.
