We all clowned him but right now his moves have paid off. #TheProcess netted the Sixers with a core of 4 young pieces (Embiid, Simmons, Saric, Fultz) and they still have Okafor as a trade asset. And yes the Sixers got fortunate with Embiid and Simmons both missing the first year of their careers which made the team a little worse than expected but that's part of the process.
The only way to get good in the NBA is to be intentionally bad or bring in a top free agent. The Celtics ironically also did this and ended up trading pieces for their current best player, attracting Horford to sign and they have pieces this year (Josh Jackson most likely) and the LAL/SAC pick next year.
Why aren't teams bringing in guys who know how to work the process brehs?
