So why can't Brooklyn or New York run their organization like this?Cause he don't know how to do anything but treat a GM job likes he's playing NBA 2K.
What he did at Philly was not impressive. If you let a 12 year old kid whose played 2K run an organization they could do the same thing.
The Nets traded the pick that will be Markelle Fultz and the pick that was Jaylen Brown for Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Jason Terry (all over 34 years old)

The Sixers then used their assets from the process to easily grab Fultz without giving up anything but a pick swap and a top 5 protected pick next year. Teams like the Nets, Pelicans, and Clippers have no picks and little to no tradable assets. How do you expect to get good? These GMs are practically stealing money.
The Nets are finished.
The Knicks are finished.
The Clippers have no assets other than 6 year options on their star players (one who's already 32 btw) and the city of LA to try to attract FA.
The Pelicans rented Boogie for a year and are about to overpay for Jrue. They're also finished.
It seems to me these three teams in particular need to trust the process because they aren't going to be good for the foreseeable future.
