There’s a lot of good alternative R&B black women singers but they just not popular

Sex sells unfortunately and that’s why the ones that promote that the most stay at the top

She’s selling 1 million this week

She’s been a top 5-10 biggest artist on the planet for the past 10+ years

She's untouchable..her and Carrie Underwood keep selling more and more. It's pretty impressive...her numbers really got super big after Kanye took that mic out of her hand though.

Sure glad I had them growing up..

Toni Braxton, Chante Moore, Tamia and etc. Had a whole crop of Tyler Swift. Generational disconnect within the black community is eating away at the tribe.
And just imagine the 90s. Black women made he biggest hits in pop in the 90s.

I don’t consider Taylor a Country artist rather Pop, and most Black women “Pop” artists are relegated to R&B where there isn’t as much promo. Also, the music industry only cares about $$$, so we’ll continue having Doja, City Girls, Cardi, Meg because that sells. A wholesome Black Pop act would never sell in this day and age.

The only person we could really compare to Taylor is Beyoncé but then, I view Bey as almost a legend of our generation so doesn’t seem fair, idk.
