Has this ever been proposed?

How can you justify giving a coach 6 or 7 million dollars a year to coach guys who are playing for tuition and housing?

How can you justify a college coach making more than, 150-200 thousand a year if players cant be paid?

They aren't student athletes. That's how.
If you had a student coach, then it would be comparable to student athletes.

because we cant pay them in experience points like on ncaa 14
whenever the next NCAA game comes out they need to incorporate shady boosters and paying players under the table into the game

do you want to offer a must-have 5-star recruit $10,000 and hope he switches his commit, but risk him snitching then getting your program in trouble? or you do play it safe and go after regular 3-star athletes while your rivals eat?:lupe:

College coaches are basically CEOs of their respective athletic departments. Depending on tge Institution we're talking 10s to 100s of millions of dollars. Just from the football programs. Annually :wow:

The better question is how can you make billions of off these young men and not let them make any money off of their own likeness.

These "amateur" rules are the loophole they need to keep screwing these young men and women over.

daylight robbery of the highest order

Thats why I love david robinson on what he did with his son.

His son committed to Notre Dame but decided that he will pay out of pocket for tuition and his son can "walk on"

Now his son can make money off his name and can transfer whenever he wants to without penalty
