This is just incredibly insulting to black people and to the intelligence of the reader. If you take a look at the history of black people in this country as one 24 hour day:

1. Hours 1 - 15 Blacks are considered property.
2. Hours 16 - 21 Blacks face Jim Crow laws and inequality in enforcement of basic civil rights.
3. Hours 22-24 Blacks finally get full civil rights at hour 22 and by hour 24 are expected to have solved all the issues in their community, despite still facing discrimination.

It's a reason why the more black ancestry you have in the western hemisphere, the more likely you are to be at the bottom of the social economic ladder. It's due to the legacy of systematic racism over the last 400 years. It doesn't matter if the country communist or socialist state like Cuba or Venezuela or a capitalistic society like the US. The way society is ordered is almost always the same. Descendants of the slave masters and those who belong to that racial group are almost always at the top of the society and descendants of African slaves are almost always at the bottom. This has little to do with Liberal efforts to address issues of inequality, rather it has to do with legacy of a brutal and oppressive past.

Why do you and the rest of your ilk always act as if black people haven't came to many of the same logical causations and propose many of the same policies as people who happen to be white liberals in good faith through independent inquiry?

It's always some insulting shyt about black people being on the "Democratic party plantation" or whatever...we're all too dumb to think for ourselves.

Black conservatives' PR skills are just as shytty as their ideology.

My point has to do with you and was in direct response to what you said. You are echoing this canard about how black people are looking to white liberals to save them, and are somehow duped or brainwashed by white liberals as a causative explanation for the state of mainstream black politics.

I'm telling you that's not only insulting, but a shytty argument. A better argument would be to explain why you think specific liberal policies work to the detriment of black people, and propose better ones. Just saying black people are too dumb to formulate independent opinions and are just programmed automatons of white liberals is fallacious.

My view on paternalistic Liberals can be summed up by one quote, ."When the fox hears the rabbit scream he comes a-runnin'... but not to help."

Look at the intentions vs. the actual results. At some point one has to question just how good those good intentions truly are. The only people who can help us and make us prosper is us, period. If we aren't willing to do that with as many funds that run thru our fingers each years, then we can twist (in the wind), and deserve to do so.

The same thing with the permissiveness and excuse-making ----> more morally bankrupt people, more deadbeats (male and female), more criminals, because it wouldn't be "nice" to shame people for lying, stealing, being violent, selling poison in the community, that would make you a hater. Now, the compassionate thing is to excuse these behaviors, thereby perpetuating it by removing the stigmas.

You dont have to say it, when you smuggle the implication into your posts by characterizing the relationship between "the black" and "the liberal" as blatantly dishonest and disingenuous, and ultimately harmful to black folks, which we as a collective somehow just cant see through. Asking stupid questions like "where is the progress for black people since the liberal starting helping", are leading ones that you're already convinced yourself you know the answer to personally. Its an intellectual bait and switch. Switch the real problem (racism), and insert the real problem something internally wrong with black people, that we ourselves cant "figure out"

Thats why I introduced the stat that showed 42% of black stem grads are either unemployed or underemployed. They've seemed to have "figured it out", but "figuring it out" is no real match for racism four centuries in the making.
