I think the point the TS is trying to make is that it's easier to make excuses for Melo & not to hold him accountable for his disaster of a playoff record. For those that don't know, Melo has the worst playoff winning percentage of all time. But instead of his groupies & stans acknowledging that you get excuses like:

"He's unlucky"
"His coach sucks"
"He played in a tough conference"
"They weren't expected to beat MIA in a series" (which is laughable b/c that still doesn't account for him having a total playoff record of 17-37)

Like @da eggman said, he's never made any of his teams elite like a superstar should so why should he continue to get treated like one? If this was Bron, Kobe, Durant, Dwight, DWade, CP3, they'd get killed for being this awful in the playoffs.
