1. poor comfortability in a world thats increasingly active (and thus needs comfort)
2. poor investments in basketball athletes that are boneheads (morant/kyrie), havent lived up to the hype (zion) or arent cool/marketable (paul george)
3. increase competition in other segments...particularly running and athleisure/lifefstyle (Lulelemon, Decker/Hoka, Skechers, New Balance and Amer Sports/Salomon)
4. poor designs in basketball compared to adidas
5. poor quality / durability due to cheap materials
6. no real innovation since the vapormax and flyknit...lot of failures since (e.g., joyride)
7. slow progression in attempt to ditch retailers and go direct to consumer
8. constantly releasing products (shoes) that ppl dont want which sit on shelves and them limiting releases for shoes ppl actually want lol
they have monopolized the jersey market but even those have been low quality supposedly and they churn out too many garbage designs trying to maximize recurring purchases. under armor been suffering too
