Terrell Brandon was average 19 ppg on 47% FG, 6.5 apg, and damn near 2 spg that year :wow: Juwan was 22 and 8 with 4.4 apg :wow: People forget how good he was. Again, no comparison, those were the reserves. :wow:

Explain Dana Barros making it:mjpls:

Yep i can confirm that Hakeem is the only nikka to win an NBA championship without another all star or Hall of Famer....that 75 Bullets Champ squad was close, but jamaal wilkes is a hall of famer and was ROY that year

I have no idea what you idiots are talking about when looking at the thread title...

But Dirk won a title by himself, and the best player in the league wasn't off playing baseball (unless you want to factor in Lebrons historic choke and say he might as well had been in the minor leagues, which I wouldn't even argue:jawalrus:)

And no a 80 year old Jason kid don't count as a hall of famer.

Considering Kobe / Lebron weren't retired, and Dirk went through BOTH of them, that is BY FAR the most impressive finals win probably in history.

LWO and Kobe stans have ruined the sports section of The Coli. No one else is allowed to have a good game without Kobe stans derailing the thread with Kobe slurping.

:laff: cry baby ass nikka. You and the rest of your hating cohorts are just upset the Lakers and their fans will never be irrelevant. You thought because we don't have a good team we wouldn't still be the loudest, rowdiest and proudest fan base? Dream on. Our swag has made this sports section the goat sports board on the internet.

Breh, the '96 all stars had Karl Malone coming off the bench :wow: No comparison in talent level. In terms of the top 5-top 10, yes, Lebron, Kobe, Durant, Duncan could play in any era. But in terms of the league overall not even close.

They voted Shawn Kemp in. We know Malone was better but Kemp was more exciting.

If u going to measure competition like that then the 2003 west was the best all star team ever put together since FMVP Shaq was coming off the bench

Their teams were ass too.

Brandon was Ty Lawson before Try Lawson and no need to think he would be an the All Star game todays game

Brolic... Alcoholics
The thing I don't like is he's blaming last night's L on being tired from the night before. And it was kinda sideways the way he complimented Houston. That's that Aaron Rodgers shyt.

That was for big men:ufdup:

Perimeter play was much better in the 2000s than it was in the 90s.

How much of this has to do with the emphasis of rules geared toward them, the decline of big men protecting the paint more so than there being more talented perimeter players today?

Because to me i'll take quality over quantity.
