Breh, the '96 all stars had Karl Malone coming off the bench No comparison in talent level. In terms of the top 5-top 10, yes, Lebron, Kobe, Durant, Duncan could play in any era. But in terms of the league overall not even close.

Perimeter play was much better in the 2000s than it was in the 90s.

How much of this has to do with the emphasis of rules geared toward them, the decline of big men protecting the paint more so than there being more talented perimeter players today?

Because to me i'll take quality over quantity.
