Also remember that today we have all stars such as Demar DeRozan, and Joe Johnson :heh: Half the Rockets team would have made the All Star team in todays NBA :wow:
Name better replacement guards in the east besides DeRozan then:stopitslime:

No they wouldn't have:ufdup:

:heh: OK breh. David Lee made the all star team least year. Would he even be a starter in the 90s? :russ:

You missed the point breh :snoop: DeRozan would have never made the All Star team back in the day, the talent level in the league was TOO high

Breh, the '96 all stars had Karl Malone coming off the bench :wow: No comparison in talent level. In terms of the top 5-top 10, yes, Lebron, Kobe, Durant, Duncan could play in any era. But in terms of the league overall not even close.

The Dream won the Championship WITHOUT a good team around him in 1994 and won a Championship with a team that finished as the 8th seed in 1995.

I think Hakeem Olajuwon is the only player in NBA history to lead a team to the NBA Championship without another All-Star player on his team:ohlawd:

That's why he's the GOAT Center:blessed:

He is the only player to win one without another all star on his squad....altho he did have some very solid players and great coaching...but still

Fistful of jewels
LWO and Kobe stans have ruined the sports section of The Coli. No one else is allowed to have a good game without Kobe stans derailing the thread with Kobe slurping.
Eat a diddikk. Every great game Kobe had, you were the first one there to downplay it. Whether it was 4 straight 50 point games, 62 in three quarters or 81, you couldn't wait to log on and throw dirt on the performance.

Yep i can confirm that Hakeem is the only nikka to win an NBA championship without another all star or Hall of Famer....that 75 Bullets Champ squad was close, but jamaal wilkes is a hall of famer and was ROY that year

That was for big men:ufdup:

Perimeter play was much better in the 2000s than it was in the 90s.

Also, Terell Brandon and Juwan Howard were both All-Stars that same year (1995-1996 All Star Game) as well:comeon:

Derozan could've been an All-Star as well if he was on that Cavs team

nikkas gonna act like Dana Barros wasnt a member of the 1995 Eastern All-Stars?:usure:

Demar Derozan would've been an All-Star back then as well. He's not some bum and he's better than Dana Barros ever was. Dana had 1 good season, on the perfect team for it, and made the All-Star game

Terrell Brandon was average 19 ppg on 47% FG, 6.5 apg, and damn near 2 spg that year :wow: Juwan was 22 and 8 with 4.4 apg :wow: People forget how good he was. Again, no comparison, those were the reserves. :wow:
