I liked the Saiyan Saga:yeshrug:It was that point between Dragonball O.G. and the Frieza saga where Martial Arts still felt relevant before power levels
rose significantly.
You mixing in two sagas bruh. Its the Android Saga and then there's the Cell Saga.
This. I was ready to go off on breh:russ:

This and the whole namek/Frieza arc where by far the best.

When tien was basically killing himself to hold cell off to let the androids escape is probably my favourite scene. :wow:

Then that arrogant clown vegeta had to let cell absorb 18 anyway. :martin:

Vegeta deserves the blame, but it was Vegetas arrogant L cells in Cell that was the downfall of Cell. He couldve killed them all, but he was so full of himself, he let them all have a chance to hit their peaks and fight him one by one

True but the Arcs are what people usually refer as sagas. Arcs were Vegeta, Frieza, Cell, Buu. We don't really take time to get specific like Saiyan saga, Ginyu Saga, Saiyaman saga etc.
Every official person or entity of dragonball only brakes the series down the second half of the series(DBZ) into 4 arcs:
Saiyan, Frieza, Android, and Buu,

So really there is only 4 arcs/sagas it seems

its the truth, Hell Android arc starts with some BS

How did Gero create Cyborgs that are so powerful that they not only are stronger than Frieza but more powerful then Super Saiyans(excluding Goku)

To add insult to injury he did not even have any data from Namek, so how and why did he create them to be so strong:martin:

The Saiyan/Frieza arc was better than Cell, IMO.

Too much of that whole storyline relied too much on plot-induced stupidity on the part of the Z fighters.

The Z fighters putting a challenge over innocent lives and not doing anything to stop the crisis 3 years in advance...
Bulma bringing her baby to see the androids...
This random scientist is somehow able to make androids that are stronger than Super Saiyans in his basement...
Yamcha not telling anyone that the Androids can absorb energy...
The Z fighters blindly charging into a fight against SSJ-level enemies with no plan after Vegeta got his arm broken...
17 thinking he could actually beat Cell by himself...
Vegeta lettting Cell go perfect for a chance to show up Goku...
(As much as I don't fault Krillin for sparing her, but..) Krillin not getting 18 OUT OF THERE while he had the chance...
Bulma not telling 16 that they removed the bomb from his body...
Goku giving Cell a senzu bean for the sake of a "fair fight"...
Gohan not bodying Cell when he had the chance, which led to Trunks getting murked...

The writing was starting to fall off by the time that Cell came around. What saved it was that the fights and the new characters were dope enough for us to let things slide.

Future Trunks had a great arc, Piccolo and Kami became one again, Gohan stepped up and became the new hero, Krillin didn't die and got the girl in the end, etc. Definitely better than the Buu Saga, IMO.

@bolded is why DB gets a pass for me with the BS in Cell

DB is a Martial art fantasy and Martial art series whether TV/Movie/etc are all about the fighting the story is just a thing that drives us to the fight

storytelling takes a backseat and is not intricate at all(and is suppose to be simple similar to what DB was)

It gave us the best moment in DBZ history IMO.

Only moment that comes close might be Goku finally killing buu

This scene gets me teary eyed. Seeing his friends brutalized by miniature versions of his enemy to a peaceful droid getting stomped.

The tears on Gohan as he is powered up is a nice touch.
