The big difference between fish and chicken and pork is the amount of food/refuse consumed. A pig will usually have consumed dozens of lbs more of crap by the time it hits your plate.

now, no learned person would consider any middle eastern country "first world" , except for israel, to a somewhat lesser degree. You mentioned Saudi Arabia. Yes, that is a very wealthy country. So is most of africa, if you want to go by the resources produced on that continent. That does not translate into first world category. The term "first world" implies the highly developed industrialized nations.
