For the betterment of future generations. A foreign concept in the black community, I know.

1. You say this shyt like it's a guarantee.
2. How?
Never? What about the 50's? You think that program was born rich?
Don't compare 2014 Oregon to 2014 Tennessee State. They're light years ahead because they've been building those programs at an elite level for a long time. If the top recruits always went to HBCU's throughout history, Oregon's program would be the laughingstock.
No it wouldn't, because Oregon would still have Phil Knight to give them cash.
Are you saying white people are inherently smarter than black people?
Why would the education be better? Why would the coaching be better?![]()
you don't think the money would follow the superstars?
Because they have a lot more money from their alumni. More money means better resources and better coaches. Seriously how are you not getting this?
of course the money would follow the superstars.
i've been talking about this forever. nobody wants to be the one to make the sacrifice
funny thing is that there wouldnt even be a sacrifice. let howard university get 6 5 star recruits like a kentucky and see how far they go in the tourney

TV money would follow the superstars, but that's still temporary. Like someone said earlier, T Boone Pickens and Phil Knight don't give a fukk who's wearing the uniforms, that's their school and they're gonna pull all the stops to make sure those schools are financially loaded.

But the HBCUs would be financially loaded too. So you think a loaded school with no talent is gonna beat a loaded school (or even not loaded school for that matter) with 5 star talent?
And furthermore, you think people are gonna pour millions into a garbage team?
If your theory held water, Harvard would be a basketball powerhouse.
