If someone's trading for Bridgewater, it's to start. A 2 is a reasonable price for a starter.
a 2 isn't reasonable for someone who you would be acquiring basically mid-season (damn near impossible for Teddy to impact the 2018 season under those circumstances) and who would immediately become a free agent next offseason.

The 49ers gave that up for Jimmy because they were deadset on him being their franchise QB and were comfortable paying him whatever it took or flat out franchise tagging him. No one feels that way about Teddy.

He did get Minnesota to the playoffs and a division crown 3 seasons ago. Would've had a playoff win too if not for that p*ssy ass Blair Walsh

He can play the questions are do you trust that he's fully ok after his injury

He'd still be our QB if he never got hurt. I think he could take the Jags to the Super Bowl:manny:

Post Injury, Vikings don't believe in his ability to lead a team with a strong D to the Super Bowl, so why should the Jags :russ:

Bortles is 3rd best QB in AFC.

Brady
Roethlisberger
Carr
Watson
Rivers
Luck (If healthy)
Jackson (I better not get any pushback about this)

Are definitely better QBs. Even if Bortles had better stats than the guys I mentioned they are still better and would do a better job if they swap places with Blake.

I've seen every game in Blake's entire career and he's never been a top 5 AFC QB.

The Jets are trying to showcase him in the preseason, and there are teams interested in him as a backup.

You just gonna ignore that Bortles took the Jags to the AFC championship?

Wrong.

Fournette and that defense took them to the AFC championship. All Bortles had to do was not fukk up too much.

Bortles didn’t. That defense & Leonard did, they were so good in spots during the season that if the offense didn’t produce points then the defense would. Also constantly gave Bortles a short field the entire game so he didn’t have to work much to get to the red zone.

Did the Jags have ANY offensive blowout games last year?

Teddy never been anything special... Nothing special enough to warrant a flier

He's basically Jason Campbell

That 14TD 9INT season was so amazing!!!! He's getting way more hype than he should IMO. He should be a backup to be honest or a 1B type player and see if he can ball out. But folk talking like he was carrying squads. He was steady.

Jason Campbell would be an accurate comparison.

Nah. Hes a starter. Seeing him come to the line and making way too many adjustments to make the game easier for the offense. You just went stat geek, nothing more. Hes better tha. Campbell because hes a smarter qb and makes better throws

No one feels that way about any qb coming off a catastrophic knee injury where he almost lost his leg.

As a Jets fan I'm not even sure I like the idea of trading Teddy right now...

I get why it's the smart thing to do considering the situation but Teddy is clearly the best QB on the team...

Never mind the fact I wanted these dumbasses to draft him four years ago...

They chose Calvin Pryor...:francis:
